This JV will acquire Madison Safety & Flow Holdings LLC, a manufacturer of first responder equipment, and 3M's self-contained breathing apparatus business. 3M will hold 50.1% and Bain Capital 49.9% in the new entity, operating in fire protection and emergency services.
